Name: Leslie Sherwood

Grade Level: Sophomore

Brad: Welcome to adulthood Leslie.

Leslie: Haha, thanks Brad.

Brad: So, what is it about college that you enjoy?

Leslie: [I enjoy the] freedom, friends, [and] the atmosphere that's here...the opportunities.

Brad: What opportunities?

Leslie: Like [I get] to play Powderpuff [football], to meet tons of different types of people, [and] go lots of random places...[the] ministry..."

Brad: Is there any downtime, where you're just bored out of your mind?

Leslie: Haha, yeah sometimes for me [because] I don't work, so I tend to have more free time than most.

Brad: What do you do with that free time?

Leslie: [I] talk to people, watch tv and movies, clean, homework...sleep (smiles).

Brad: Interesting, what do you miss about home the most?

Leslie: [My] family...

Brad: [Well], that's given...

Leslie: ...and having a place to get away from everyone.

Brad: Which would be?

Leslie: My house...my room at home. Here, no matter where you go, there's always someone, or you can hear someone. The walls are paper thin. You never have time just to be alone with your thoughts.

Brad: How's this interview comin' along for you?

Leslie: Haha, [I] didn't know i was being interviewed.

Brad: Wow, I'm secretive. Gnarly, I suppose.
